I’m a lawyer turned mom turned writer. My legal career includes a degree from Harvard Law School (you may not be surprised to know that Legally Blonde got it pretty much all wrong) and several years of litigation practice in Boston focusing mostly on employment law, followed by a cross-country move and a stint as a staff attorney at the Texas Supreme Court. I now have a couple of years of freelance writing under my belt. Given my background, I’ve written mostly about legal topics, but here on this blog I plan to try out other ideas as well. I currently live in Austin with my husband, daughter, and two incorrigible dogs. When I’m not writing, I might be running, cycling, singing, or reading. Or driving. Probably driving.
